Anyone washed this recently? How long did it take y'all? I've got a lot of Mopar experience only have not done anything like this in a LONG time. I don't desire to miss the Cowtown Mopar Show on Sunday and am trying to figure out if I should take tomorrow off of work to set my truck or if I can just git-r-washed on Saturday... |

If that show is really that of import to you, and you are on practiced terms with your boss or whom always you work for, y'all should have the twenty-four hour period off to become it done. As for how long it takes, I had a like repair job, but also needed to replace a thermostat at the same time. Turns out that someone in the past had used sealant or extreme thread-locker on ane of the thermostat housing bolts. It was a steel commodities screwed into aluminum threads. The head of the bolt broke off flush. Tried drilling the bolt, and so the easy-out broke-off flush in the end of the commodities. Used a carbide-cutter and dice-grinder to grind out the remains of the piece of cake-out and the bolt. The threads were destroyed, and so now I drilled/taped the aluminum oversize for a larger-diameter replacement commodities. Had a Heli-Gyre as backup if that hadn't worked. Point is, yous never really know how long it's going to take. |

Constitute out the culprit was my h2o pump was expressionless and must accept caused it to overheat pretty expert. I swapped out the damaged head and left the other one alone. I was beat by i am and said to heck with information technology. Fired it upward this morning and she runs a LOT ameliorate. Gauge cleaning the fuel injectors assist a lot as well. I think I could have swapped the engine faster than that but it simply cost me virtually $250 total including the new water pump so i guess it was worth it. Thank you again guys |

You too have to make sure to seal the ends of the intake with a trivial RTV. And while thinking of it should replace that dang little safety hose that is impossible to get to when the motor is together. Sorry to hear it was such a long job. I was thinking the 5 hour quote was a flake short. |
